The BOX DROPS series is a tribute to water as a source and prerequisite for life in all its diversity.
Each 3D-printed drop is hand-painted, signed, numbered, logo-stamped and preserved for posterity in an airtight Plexiglas cube, which immortalises it, but also makes it inaccessible and untouchable.
All the different states and forms that water can have, are united here in one object: lakes and rivers, steam, ice, clouds, fauna and flora and, in addition, all the colours of life – just as in the morning the rising sun transforms the early morning mist into a sea of colours that contains the entire spectrum of a prism. Each BOX DROP captures the moment when water transforms, from transparent to a particular hue, from liquid to a state of motion frozen in time.
